Statement swimwear since 1916

It was a time when beaches were the exclusive playground for the elite. When taking a dive meant dipping a toe in the water. And women's bathing suits were to cover up the body.

1916, Holland. At the forefront of societal change and with cosmopolitan flair, Tweka set out to bring the sheer joy o swimming to the beaches of Europe. With swimwear that was both functional and fashionable. Swimwear that unwittingly embodied modernist concepts like autonomy and equality.

As perspectives widened, Tweka's swimsuits got tighter. Materials lighter. More durable. Over time Tweka's swimsuits became more revealing, ravishing and expressive in colours and print. More skin. Higher cuts. Sensual shapes. Two-piece suits.

For decades, Tweka's mantra has been form, function, ashion and forwardness. From Spring 2018 onwards, Tweka will be introducing a new design approach that pays homage to our wondrous heritage. With classic Tweka styles designed with contemporary sophistication. Bold graphics and colours, along with a touch of sportiveness and old world class. It is with pride that we present you the renaissance of an icon one hundred years in the making.
